Did you know that FASD affects people differently? Each person with FASD will have their own unique set of challenges and strengths. A common challenge is that many people with FASD may not show visible signs or symptoms. People with FASD may not behave the way society expects, but with individualized supports suited to their needs they can be successful. In this video, you will learn about the unique strengths and challenges experienced by each person with FASD. You will learn the importance of supporting people with FASD and their caregivers. You will also consider the impact of FASD on the brain, body and behaviour. You will develop a deeper understanding of the importance of support for individual success.
