Raising a child with NDD can be an overwhelming experience for parents and caregivers. Research has demonstrated that parents and caregivers can experience more stress and increased mental and physical health challenges when compared to parents and caregivers of children without NDD. It is important to care for the mental health needs of parents and caregivers as well as the child.
